Beach Jewellery

Our beach jewellery brings the sea into solid silver: shell-shaped pendants, wave-inspired earrings, gemstone bracelets in ocean blues and greens, and anklets made for bare feet. Every piece is handmade, mostly in hill tribe silver with some 925 sterling, so it's built for real holidays rather than a single summer. Finish the look with a silver toe ring, or add colour with gemstone silver bracelets.

Shells, waves and sea colours

The collection is built around three ideas. Shell and sea motifs appear in pendants and earrings, and our shells are solid silver made in the shape of shells, not real shell, so they won't chip, crack or fade. Ocean-coloured stones such as larimar, lapis lazuli and amazonite are paired with silver in our gemstone bracelets. Light, easy pieces like anklets and simple bangles suit days in swimwear and sandals. Mix one of each and you have a holiday stack that still works back in the city.

Building a beach stack

Start at the feet. A silver anklet and a toe ring are the most "beach" pieces you can wear, and they're barely noticeable until the sandals come out. Add one bracelet with colour and one plain silver bangle. Finish with small hoops or a shell pendant. Keep the metals all silver for a clean look. Hill tribe silver and sterling sit happily together.

Can you wear silver at the beach?

Yes, with a little care. Salt water, chlorine and sunscreen won't destroy silver, but they speed up tarnish and leave a dull film. Rinse your pieces in fresh water at the end of the day, pat them dry and give them a quick wipe with a polishing cloth. Take gemstone bracelets off before swimming. Some stones, such as malachite and larimar, are soft and don't like long soaks or sunscreen. Store everything dry in a pouch, not in a damp beach bag.

A gift that travels well

Beach jewellery makes an easy gift for someone who's travelling or has just come home. It's small, it packs flat and it carries a memory. Anklets and pendants don't need a size at all, which makes them the safest choice. Add a handwritten note about the trip it brings to mind.

Beach jewellery FAQ

Can I swim in silver jewellery?
You can, but rinse it in fresh water and dry it afterwards. Salt water and chlorine speed up tarnish. Remove gemstone pieces before swimming.

Will salt water damage silver?
It won't damage solid silver, but it will dull it faster. A rinse and a polishing cloth bring it back.

Are your shells real?
No. Our shell pieces are solid silver made in the shape of shells, so they won't chip, crack or fade like real shell.

What should I pack for a beach holiday?
An anklet, a toe ring, one gemstone bracelet and small hoops. They're light and comfortable, and they work with swimwear and evening clothes alike.

Is your beach jewellery real silver?
Yes. Every piece is solid silver, mostly hill tribe silver with some 925 sterling.
